Award for the development of personality

On 16th of April, 2015 the official ceremony of awarding “Balva cilvēka izaugsmes” (Award for the development of personality) happened.

Society Motus Vita was proposed to the nomination by Latvian Cystic Fibrosis Society in the category “For social responsibility.”

Totally were received 45 applications of which 12 societies got to the final, including Motus Vita.

For Motus Vita society it is a great honor to be nominated and to be among the finalists of this prestigious and respected awarding.

The award “Balva cilvēka izaugsmei” was organized with the support of the American Chamber of Commerce in Latvia (Amerikas Tirdzniecības Palāta Latvijā (ATPL) and the Latvian Citizen Alliance (Latvijas Pilsoniskā Alianse).

The award is given to honor the Latvian people, organizations and companies for their outstanding achievements and contributions to human development.

As guests of honor the ceremony was attended by:

1. The President of the American Chamber of Commerce of Latvia Arnis Kākulis
2. The Minister of Education and Science of the Latvian Republic Mārīte Seile
3. The head of the US Embassy in Latvia Šarona Hadsone-Dīna
4. The head of the European Commission Representation in Latvia Inna Šteinbuka
