We live in very weird times, when the entire mankind has faced unusual living conditions. When some activities are suspended, and people find themselves surrounded by numerous restrictions, we have asked some members of MOTUS VITA to answer to the following questions:

  1. How do you feel in the present situation?
  2. You certainly know how to overcome difficulties in life. What would you like to wish to other people today?

  1. I spend most of the time in balance. I try to find positive sides in the present situation and to focus on them.
  2. Do not allow the anxiety which is felt everywhere around, to get inside and to grow into fear. Believe in yourself! Every one of us has got potentially a variety of breathtaking possibilities. Now, when it is less of a rush, and the situation allows to revise our inner world, it is the right time to set aside the unnecessary and to embrace more lightness and freedom.

  1. I usually lead an active social life. When the lockdown restrictions were just introduced, I felt lost and even a little bit angry, since all my plans were cancelled. Of course, I was worried about the future, especially in view of my active social life: almost every week I took part in meetings dedicated to the issues of disabled persons, assisted to the sessions of a social committee. And time flew like an arrow in everyday rush! However, now I have free time to remember what I have forgotten and to learn something new. I will tell you more.
  2. Now, during the period of social isolation I spend more time at home and decided to turn to my hobby – cooking of interesting and delicious meals. I really appreciate to take a walk and to respire fresh air, though before it seemed to me such a usual thing. I have started my legal studies, and now I spend several hours a day studying laws. Before I could not even imagine that I would have so much time to study! I started a new routine to have a 10-minutes workout in the morning, and I feel really good! Without the lockdown I would never turn to these things, since I thought that I did not have enough time… And my dream is to travel abroad again!
  • I recommend to appreciate this time when we can stop for a while and evaluate our priorities.
  • Imagine what do you enjoy to do and what would you like to do.
  • Get through your roles in life – when are you an active employee, when do you have rest, when do you spend time with your family. Contribute more time to what you really like!
  • Find something to replace your previous activities if you cannot do what you want or what you used to do. Dare to dream, do not be upset, make good use of your time!
  • Read, learn and put in practice new habits!
