MOTUS VITA members had a possibility to take part in an interesting meeting took place in the beginning of May in a cosy hall of Svētās Ģimenes Māja. The meeting was headed by Rita Troškina – journalist, presenter of the programme “Green Lamp” at Baltkom radio station, author of the poetry book “Luno Momento”.
You think this is easy? Yes, it is, but not so easy. Miraculous things happen more often than you might imagine. They are often created by people – just ordinary people around us. That’s who we were talking about. Rita Troškina told real stories of those who, even in the most difficult circumstances, resisted the “judgement of fate” and managed to change their lives for the better, how they do it, and who helps them. The programme “Green Lamp”, which has been running for 6 years now, counts many such heroes.
Rita is also absolutely convinced that where there is a room for poetry, there is no space left for evil or harm. So, we read and listened to a good modern poetry. Rita read poems from her book “Luno Momento”, which was also offered to many participants as a gift.
It was a wonderful conversation and we hope it will be the start for a whole series of meetings.
