Our good friends, physiotherapist Anna Deimantaite and certified occupational therapist Sabīne Mikulāne-Dzelzkalēja gave a great masterclass “Well-being is the Basis of Health”. We have found out a lot of useful and interesting information about what exactly can we do for our health by making use of available resources.

In the first part of the workshop, physiotherapist Anna Deimantaite told about how our thoughts affect the way our body works, how our mindset and mood affect our health and quality of life. With specific examples, she explained what is the signal of muscle pain, how imbalances occur in our body, how to restore and to maintain the balance. 

In the second part, certified occupational therapist Sabīne Mikulāne-Dzelzkalēja explained and demonstrated with examples how ergonomic knowledge can help us to improve our quality of life by choosing the most comfortable and effective technical aids. In view of specific and extremely useful advices, we discussed the importance of an appropriate arrangement of the living space.
