On October 3rd of this year, the 10th anniversary of the Latvian Alliance for Rare Diseases was celebrated at the OratoriO Music and Drama Space in Riga. The Annual Award of the Latvian Alliance for Rare Diseases was presented in three categories: Organisation of the Year, Event of the Year and Personality of the Year.
The awards were presented in a friendly atmosphere by Hosam Abu Meri, the Minister of Health of the Republic of Latvia. The founders of the Alliance were also honoured by Daiga Mieriņa, the Speaker of the Saeima.
Over the last 10 years, the Alliance has become an important organisation helping thousands of people with rare diagnoses across the country, and the Motus Vita team’s contribution in this area is significant.
